ELSWHERE. exists to give films and ideas a chance that might otherwise never be produced. Stories with unfamiliar perspectives, characters who rarely take the lead, and concepts that are difficult to fit into an established category.
Today, ELSWHERE. is one person bringing those ideas to life. From writing and visual development to production and editing, the work begins with a personal question: what would I want to see that I cannot find enough of?
PERIAPSIS is the first expression of that purpose. An intimate queer relationship at the center of a science-fiction survival story. A film where identity, love, and the freedom to choose belong inside an ambitious cinematic world.
One person now. A studio in the making.
The ambition is to grow ELSWHERE. into a studio that makes films and content more diverse—in whose stories get told, who gets to tell them, and what those stories can look like.
That includes different identities, cultures, and experiences. It also means making room for unusual genres, unexpected combinations, quieter emotions, and ideas whose audience may not be obvious at first. Diversity should extend to the creative choices themselves.
AI-assisted production is part of how ELSWHERE. is beginning. It gives a single creator room to attempt work that would otherwise demand resources beyond reach. Every project still depends on deliberate choices about writing, imagery, rhythm, sound, and what the story is trying to say.
Over time, the goal is to bring more voices into that process: writers, filmmakers, artists, and collaborators with perspectives that expand what ELSWHERE. can create. The studio should grow through their contributions, with space for work across films, series, and other forms of content.
For now, it starts with one person and a first film. Each project is a step toward a studio where more kinds of stories have a place—and the chance to find their audience.
